The Path of Splendor

The Path of Splendor is one of the most evocative paths in Silvi Paese. Today, this path develops along via Palmisano, a road inhabited by residential villas, and reaches the old church of the Madonna dello Splendore, located at the foot of the village. From here, it is possible to access the stairways that lead directly under the masonry arches.

Once upon a time, the path of Splendor was the way used by fishermen to reach the beach in a short time. Although the road is a bit steep, it is still possible to reach Silvi Marina in about 30 minutes. However, if you prefer an easier panoramic road, you can choose to take the road that winds alongside the old church of the Splendor. This scenic drive offers beautiful coastal and hillside views, but takes about an hour and a half to complete.
