Church of San Rocco
The Church of San Rocco in Silvi Paese stands on the street of the same name, born from the urban expansion of the historic core of the village and has a symmetrical main façade with a white plaster finish.
The entrance consists of a rectangular main portal, without a frame, and two travertine steps. An oval window opens at the top of the facade.
The plastered side elevations are embellished with arched windows and on the roof, in the rear part, we can admire a bell gable.
Inside, the nave is covered by a flat ceiling and the side walls are covered in wooden planks. The flooring is made up of quadrangular tiles with side bands of a darker colour.
The altar area is raised on a sort of marble platform and is placed in line with the entrance, on the side opposite the back wall, where there are two rectangular openings which allow access to the back rooms of the sacristy.
